On a recent summer morning I set out on my road bike to make the climb up the beautiful Appalacian Gap, also know as the App Gap. I started my ride in Fayston, Vermont at the intersection of German Flats road and Vermont 17 and slowly climbed the 4.4 miles to the peak, which is at an elevation of 2,369 feet. Overall, it was an ascent of 1,370 vertical feet.Biking The Vermont Gaps: Part 1 - App Gap access denied | |
