What does 200 calories look like for 30 different foods?
To put this in perspective, a person weighing 80 kilos (176 pounds) would have to jump rope at a moderate pace for around 15 mins to burn off 200 calories. Alternatively, if you're around the 60 kilo (132 pound) mark you'd have to walk moderately for 60 minutes to burn off 200 calories.
Some of this is no surprise...some is!

So many of us are worried about our weights that we're forgetting the importance of adequate nutrition.
The main thing to remember is that nutrition feeds and affects EVERY cell in our body. We're made up of cells that create tissues, our tissues create organs, and we're made up of a complex system of organs, from our hearts to our skin.
It's safe to say that if your nutrition is insufficient, the cells in your body will also be negatively affected. This leads to a greater risks of illness, infection and disease and poor health overall. Something we all want to avoid.
Keep it simple and avoid those empty calories with natural, vitamin packed and healthy foods. A simple rule of thumb... If it didn't exist when your great grandmother was young, chances are it's not all that natural or good for you.
